Solberg misses the point, me thinks, but I like that he's thinking along evolutionary terms. Government isn't an animal; rather, it's part of a broader organism, society. It should, at its best, serve the neo-cortex, executive function role, coordinating resource allocation and accomodation across the series of systems that make up our Canadian whole.
When we embrace this reality, consciously, we'll all be better off.
