Hybrid thinking?

Sounds like another way of describing networked intelligence or a conscious society.

There will be plenty who think arguments like this are grasping at straws, making connections between wholly separate and siloed bits of information.

There will also be those who recoil at this concept, feeling that being networked somehow impedes individuality and aligns with one-world state mentality.  They would rather silo themselves off hermetically, saving themselves from the mindless hoard.

The irony of this will likely be lost on them.  

You might think I'm making fallacious connections - that's certainly your right.

But I've got a habit of being right on these things.
