The Peaceable Revolution is Catching

There's nothing wrong with demanding accountability, critiquing party platforms and evaluating the performances of elected officials.  But cynically grumbling about the lot of them - and thereby abdicating our own role in the system - is behaving like a chief executive who runs down the company's entire workforce.  It's just making excuses for your won lack of action and responsibility.

Is it just me, or does there seem to be a growing trend towards responsibility coming from unusual spaces?

Best part is, it's emerging in unusual places, too - like the public service.

Must be something in the water.
