A behavioural study of the entire sample showed "pronounced sex differences, with the females outperforming males on attention, word and face memory, and social cognition tests and males performing on spatial processing and motor and sensorimotor speed," the study read.

This makes sense to me - especially if you look at the behaviours of close relatives like chimps.  This isn't to say we're limited to the drives of our hard-wiring; if anything, we're evolving the ability to choose consciously how we want to be.
